About us

Remesla (remesla.com.ua) is an online marketplace built for Ukrainian artisans and for everyone who values things made by hand. It brings together work from many crafts — ceramics and pottery, jewellery, leather and textile goods, candles, handmade cosmetics, home décor, toys, clothing and accessories — from makers in cities and villages across Ukraine.

We do not make or sell the goods ourselves. Our job is to give makers a convenient storefront and the tools to sell, and to give buyers an easy way to find the author and buy directly from them.

Every item on Remesla has an author. A listing shows photos, a description, the price, the payment and delivery methods the maker offers, and reviews from other buyers. From the workshop page you can browse all of a maker’s work.

• A catalogue by category, plus search and filters — by city, item condition and attributes.
• Ordering in a few steps, with the order status tracked in "My purchases".
• Product reviews and ratings, checked by a moderator.
• Direct communication with the maker about your order.

For a maker, Remesla is their own workshop page, listings with photos and attributes, orders in "My sales", buyer reviews and posts where they can tell the story behind their work.

Publishing and managing listings is free. The seller pays the marketplace commission only when accepting an order from the cart; it is not added to the price of the goods. See "Balance and commission" in the Help Centre for details.

Remesla is a marketplace, not a shop. The sale contract is concluded directly between buyer and seller; they agree payment for the goods and delivery between themselves, using the methods the seller has listed. See the "Payment and shipping" and "Return policy" pages for details.

Every listing is moderated before it is published: we check that it follows the marketplace rules. That is not a guarantee of the quality of each item, but it is how we keep the catalogue honest and clear.
