How to choose a product and a seller

What to look at in a listing: photos, description, attributes, options, price, bargaining and the seller's profile.

In short

Compare several listings: photos, description, attributes, condition, city and price. Check the seller's profile and their delivery methods. Then use «Buy» or «Show contacts».

Compare several offers

Do not stop at the first result. Open several similar listings and compare the price, condition, what is included, the city and the delivery terms — that is how you see the real price range.

Photos, description and attributes

  • A listing may hold up to 10 photos — look through all of them, not just the cover.
  • Read the description: materials and technique, what is included, defects, dimensions, care.
  • Check the «Attributes» tab — it holds the parameters specific to that section.
  • Look at the condition badge — «New» or «Used» — and at the city and the publication date.

Price, bargaining and options

  • A «Negotiable» badge means the price can be agreed: at checkout you enter «Your price», and the seller either accepts it or sends a counter-offer.
  • If the listing offers a choice of option (size, colour and so on), the price may differ per option.
  • Listings with options cannot be bought through the cart yet — arrange the deal with the seller directly via contacts.

Check the seller

Open the seller's profile: the «Products» and «Posts» tabs, the «Member since …» badge and the «Show contacts» button. The seller's delivery methods are shown on the listing page itself. There are no reviews or ratings on the site, so judge by how complete the listing is, how filled-in the profile is, and how willingly the seller answers questions.

How to buy next

If purchase is available for the listing, the «Buy» button adds the product to the «Cart». If there is no button, sign in and click «Show contacts». More detail in «How to buy and contact a seller».
