Payment and shipping

On the Remesla marketplace, items are sold by independent makers. Each order is shipped directly by the seller who made or listed the item. The payment and delivery terms below apply to all orders on the marketplace.

Each seller on Remesla chooses which payment methods they accept. The payment options available for each item are shown on its product page and at the payment step during checkout.

• Cash on delivery — the buyer pays for the order when collecting it at the carrier’s branch. The carrier charges a money transfer fee according to its rates, which is paid by the buyer.
• Prepayment — the buyer pays the full amount before the order is shipped. The seller provides payment details after confirming the order. The item is shipped once the payment has been received.
• Partial prepayment — the buyer pays part of the amount before the item is shipped or made, and pays the rest upon delivery. The prepayment amount is set by the seller; the exact percentage is shown on the product page and during checkout. This method is usually used for items made to order.
• Cash on meeting — payment in cash when the item is handed over in person. The seller arranges the time and place of the meeting with the buyer after the order is placed.

If several payment methods are available for an item, the buyer can choose the preferred one during checkout.

Orders on the Remesla marketplace are shipped by the seller who listed the item on the website. Delivery is available throughout Ukraine via Nova Poshta, Ukrposhta and Meest. The buyer chooses a carrier during checkout from the list provided by the seller.

Some sellers also offer in-person handover — if this option is available for an item, it will appear among the delivery options during checkout. The parties arrange the time and place directly.

Delivery is charged at the current rates of the chosen carrier. By default, the buyer pays for delivery upon receipt. Some sellers may cover the delivery costs themselves — if this applies to an item, it is stated on its product page. Remesla does not add its own markup to delivery costs.

• item in stock — up to 3 days to prepare for shipping;
• made to order — up to 7 days;
• delivery by carrier — up to 3 days;
• total timeframe — up to 10 days.

The exact production time is stated in each item’s description. Since items on Remesla are handmade, some may take longer — the seller will let the buyer know when confirming the order.

In case of a delay, the buyer can contact support@remesla.com.ua or Telegram https://t.me/remesla_support — Remesla support will contact the seller and provide an update on the order status within one business day.

If an item doesn’t suit the buyer or arrives defective, it can be returned. The terms are described on the Returns page.
