Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of remesla.com.ua (“Remesla”, the “Site”, the “Platform”). By registering on the Site or using it without registering, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any provision, please do not use the Site.

Remesla is an online platform that connects sellers and buyers: sellers post listings, buyers browse them, contact sellers and, for some categories, place orders directly on the Site. These Terms apply together with the Privacy Policy, which describes how we process personal data.

Browsing listings requires no registration. Seeing a seller’s contact details, buying a product through the cart, or publishing your own listing or post requires an account.

• By registering, you confirm you have the legal capacity required under Ukrainian law to enter into the relevant transactions, or that you are acting with a legal representative’s consent.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide during registration and in your profile settings, and for keeping access to your account secure.
• One user, one account. Sharing account access with third parties is not allowed.

Registration is by email and password, or via a Google account; your credentials (email, password) are processed and stored by AWS Cognito, a separate authentication service the Site does not directly access. Publishing listings and posts requires a verified email.

In "Settings" you may add a phone number, profile photo, delivery methods and social-media links. These are shown to other users as described in the Privacy Policy.

By publishing a listing, post, photo or other content, you confirm you hold the rights to it (in particular, photos must be your own or ones you are entitled to use) and that the content is accurate and lawful under Ukrainian law.

Every new listing and post, and any material change to the photos, title or description of an active listing, is reviewed by moderators before becoming publicly visible. We may reject, unpublish or remove content that violates these Terms, is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or misleading.

• Prohibited: weapons, ammunition, drugs and other restricted goods; counterfeit or infringing goods; adult content; fraudulent schemes and misleading advertising.
• One listing — one product or one clear offer; using someone else’s photos or watermarked images is not allowed.

By publishing a photo, you grant Remesla the right to host, reproduce and publicly display that image on the Site and through its content delivery network (CDN) — without this, a listing could not technically be shown to buyers. This right is limited to what is necessary to operate the Site and does not take away your copyright in your own content.

For some product categories (marked by the seller or the administration as available for purchase), a buyer can add an item to the "Cart" and place an order directly on the Site. For every other listing, contact and the sale agreement happen off the Site, via "Show contacts".

Remesla is NOT a party to the sale contract between buyer and seller, does not act as either party’s commission agent or attorney, and is not a payment agent for the goods themselves. The order on the Site records the agreement (items, price, delivery method, status), but payment for the goods is arranged and made directly between buyer and seller, outside the Site’s functionality.

The seller is solely responsible for the quality, completeness and lawful origin of the goods, and for complying with consumer-protection and tax law with respect to their own activity. The buyer is responsible for inspecting the goods and the terms of the deal before paying.

Order statuses (Bargaining → New → Confirmed → Shipped → Completed, or Cancelled) and price negotiation for negotiable items are described in the Help Center.

Publishing and managing listings is free. When the commission feature is enabled, the seller pays a Site commission when accepting an order placed through the cart — 5% of the order amount, with a minimum of 20 UAH and a maximum of 1000 UAH, charged once, at the moment the order is accepted. The commission can be paid from the "Balance" (topped up in advance) or as a one-time payment.

As of the date these Terms were published, a technical (stub) payment provider is connected: the Site does not accept or store payment card data. When a real payment gateway is connected, this section and the Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

The "Balance" is used solely to pay the Site’s commission and is not a means of paying for goods between buyer and seller — Remesla does not hold either party’s funds for the transaction itself.

New listings and posts, and material changes to photos, titles or descriptions, are reviewed by moderators. Violations of these Terms are rejected with a stated reason. Systematic violations, fraud or suspected fraud may lead to a restricted account or a ban, without prior notice in urgent cases.

A moderation decision or a ban can be appealed via the "Contact" page.

The Site’s design, logo, the Remesla name, source code and structure belong to [LEGAL ENTITY / SOLE-PROPRIETOR NAME — FILL IN] or are used under a lawful basis. Copying, reproducing or using these elements without written permission is prohibited.

Rights to content published by users (photos, listing and post text) remain with its authors, subject to the licence described in "Listings, posts and user content".

The Site is provided "as is". We make reasonable efforts to keep it stable, moderate content and secure accounts, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation of the Site or that every listing matches its stated description.

Remesla is not liable for the quality, safety, legality or accuracy of third-party (sellers’) goods; for the acts or omissions of users during a deal carried out outside the Site’s functionality (including payment, delivery, or returns); or for losses arising from the use or inability to use the Site — except where liability cannot be limited under Ukrainian law.

Nothing in this section limits consumer rights that cannot be limited by contract under the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Protection".

How we collect and process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.

We may amend these Terms — in particular in connection with changes to the Site’s functionality or to the law. The current version is always available on this page, with the last-updated date shown above. Continuing to use the Site after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.

You can delete your account yourself in "Settings" → "Account management". Account deletion is a soft delete: the account and its associated content are marked deleted and hidden from public view, after which re-registering with the same email or the same Google account is permanently blocked. This action cannot be undone — before deleting, make sure you have no active orders or unfinished deals.

We may restrict or block access to an account for violating these Terms, on suspicion of fraud, or as required by law.

These Terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. Disputes arising from the use of the Site are resolved through negotiation, and, failing agreement, in court, under the jurisdiction established by Ukrainian law.
